DAY 01 AREQUIPA / BASE CAMP
Very early transfer to the Aguada Blanca Dam (4,150 m.a.s.l) in a 4 x 4 vehicle. The journey will last round 3 hours. Arrive at the hiking starting point, where one will ascend for 3 hours until reaching the Base Camp (4,800 m.a.s.l.). Overnight in tents. 

DAY 02 BASE CAMP / AREQUIPA
Very early morning, the 5 to 6 hour ascent starts heading towards the summit (5,825 m.a.s.l.). Visit the crater where there is some fumaroles activity going on. The landscape from the peak is impressive. Return to camp (1 hour trip), and then to the transportation (1 hour journey) where vehicles will transfer you to the city of Arequipa (approx. 2 ½ hour journey).
