DAY 01 AREQUIPA/
CHIVAY TOWN ( L/D )
 Departure
to Pampa de Arrieros and Pampa Cañahuas, part of the
national reserve where it's possible to observe vicuñas
(3.800 masl). Then, trekking to the Sumbay Grotto (4.000 masl
- 1.30 hours round-trip). The trip continues with beautiful
views like the "Colca's windows" and camelidaes.
Visit to the Mollepunko geoglyphs (3.811 masl). Box lunch.
We will visit the haunted castles (natural rocky formation)
and typical towns like Callalli, Sibayo and Tuti. If you wish
(optional), is possible to do a trek until the Punumunta Grotto
at 4.100 masl (5 hours). Following the trip we cross by Canacota
Canyon. Arrival at Chivay (3.600 masl). Lodging and dinner.
DAY 2 CHIVAY
( B/L/D )
 After
breakfast, we will visit the Colca right margin, Coporaque
town, Ocolle viewpoint (pre-Inca amphitheatre). Trekking (40
minutes) to appreciate the "colcas" and trekking
(2 hours) to visit the Uyu-Uyu ruins.
Following the journey, we will visit Ichupampa and Lari towns.
We will take lunch returning to Chivay. In the afternoon,
visit to La Calera hot-spring water and Chivay town. Dinner
at the hotel.
DAY 3
CHIVAY (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit to Cruz del Condor (Condor Cross) to
see the canyon the condors. The journey continues to Tipay
viewpoint and Cabanaconde town. Just before return, we will
visit Pinchocllo town, Wayra Punko viewpoint, Antahuilque
(terraces) and Choquetico (pre-Inca tombs and stone maquettes).
We cross Maca and Yanque towns, where we will visit the Cervantes
stone bridge and its hot-spring water.
Return to Chivay and lunch at the hotel. Afternoon is at leisure.
Dinner at the hotel.
DAY 4 CHIVAY
/ AREQUIPA
Breakfast and transfer to Pinchollo to do a trekking to the
geysers (4 to 5 hours, round trip.), returning to Arequipa
through the Andes viewpoint and the Pampa de Tojra.
Note:
If you wish, on 3rd day you can visit geysers (box lunch included).
On 4th day, morning will be at leisure and after lunch, transfer
to Arequipa.
