DAY 01 HUARAZ / CASHAPAMPA / LLAMA CORRAL
We depart from Huaraz northward, going across the cites of Carhuaz, Yungay and Caraz. From the latter city we head to Cashapampa in a 2½ hour journeyapproximately. From Cashapampa we start trekking to Quebrada Santa Cruz, going past by beautiful spots to finally arrive at Llama Corral, where we will camp. Overnight

DAY 02 LLAMA CORRAL / ALPAMAYO BASE CAMP
We will be able to view the Ichic Cocha and Jatun Cocha lagoons this day. Inally, we will get to Alpamayo base camp, where we will observe the mostbeautiful mountain in Earth. We will camp here overnight.

DAY 03 ALPAMAYO BASE CAMP / ALPAMAYO GLACIER
We will set off to the Alpamayo glacier from where we will appreciate all the majesty of this beautiful mountain, totally enjoying all the natural view and its varied shades. Return to base camp. Overnight.

DAY 04 BASE CAMP / TAULLIPAMPA / PUNTA UNION / HUARIPAMPA
We start the hike to Punta Union mountain pass, from where there is a splendid view of the valley of Santa Cruz, and of mountains such as Taulliraju, Paria, Pucaraju, among others. Descending along a stepped path we will reach Huaripampa (Cachinapampa) where we will camp. Overnight.

DAY 05 HUARIPAMPA / VAQUERIA / PORTACHUELO MOUNTAIN PASS / HUARAZ
This is the last stretch of the trek. We will descend along Huaripampa valley, sighting typical houses of the region, to reach Quebrada Rio Paccha and go up to Vaqueria. From here, and on private transportation, we will go to Portachuelo mountain pass [The balcony of the Cordillera Blanca (White mountain range)], from where we will have the most spectacular view of the highest mountains in Peru: Huascaran, Huandoy, Pisco, Chacraraju, Chopicalqui, among othes. Likewise, we will see the lagoons of Llanganuco and Yungay. Return to Huaraz.
