DAY 01 HUARAZ / LLAMAC
Departure from huaraz on private bus to Chiquian. Then, we reach Llamac going past by Conococha along the Pativilca River and having as background on the west side is the landscape of the Huayhuash mountain range. One can see the Yerupaja, Jirishanca among others. We will camp at Llamac. Overnight.

DAY 02 LLAMAC / MATACANCHA
On the way we will observe the Rondoy snowcapped mountain. Overnight at Matacancha.

DAY 03 MATACANCHA / MITUCOCHA
On this journey, we get to 4,700m.a.s.l. altitude at Cacanari mountain pass. From there, one can see the Jirishanca Chico snowcapped mountain. Camp will be set at the Mitucocha lagoon. Overnight.

DAY 04 MITUCOCHA / CARHUACOCHA
We go across the Carhuac pass at 4,650m.a.s.l. There we can also appreciate the Jirishanca, Yerupaja and Siula snowcapped mountains. Overnight at the Carhuacocha lagoon.

DAY 05 CARHUACOCHA / HUAYHUASH
We reach the Carnicero (Butcher) mountain pass at 4,600m.a.s.l. From there we will see the snowcapped mountain equally named and some other ravines of considerable beauty.

DAY 06 HUAYHUASH / VICONGA
We get to Portachuelo pass at 4,750m.a.s.l. Later on, we will reach the Viconga lagoon, where we will camp. We will also visit the hot springs of Sequia. Overnight.

DAY 07 VICONGA / QUEBRADA HUANACPATAY
This day we reach the Cuyoc mountain pass at 5,000m.a.s.l. From there we can see the ravines, mountains and snowcapped of the Huayhuash mountain range. Among them the Cuyoc and Huanarinri snowcapped mountains. Camp at Huanacpatay. Overnight.

DAY 08 HUANACPATAY / HUAYLLAPA
We hike to the Harapo and Cutapampa ravine, and we camp at the townof Huayllapa. Overnight.

DAY 09 HUAYLLAPA / TAPUSH
We will view the Diablo Mudo (Speechless Devil) snowcapped mountain and we go through Tapush pass at 4,800m.a.s.l, where we will camp. Overnight.

DAY 10 TAPUSH / JAHUACOCHA
During the hike we will see the Yerupaja, Ratsac, Godoy and Jirishanca snowcapped mountains, reaching the Yaucha pass at 4,800m.a.s.l. We will camp at the Jahuacocha lagoon. Overnight.

DAY 11 JAHUACOCHA / LLAMAC
We get to the Llamac Pampa pass at 4,300m.a.s.l. On the way we will observe varied landscape until reaching Llamac, where we will set camp. Overnight.

DAY 12 LLAMAC / HUARAZ
We set off to Chiquian to later go to Huaraz going across the Conococha pass (4,100m.a.s.l.). We will observe a panoramic view of the White and Black mountain ranges.

OPTIONAL: On day 11 we can do Jahuacocha / Solterococha. The journey is more less a 9-hour trek, and we can add the Sambuya pass at 4,750m.a.s.l.
Day 12 would be Solterococha / Llamac. The journey is more less a 5-hour trek and we would not have to stay overnight twice at Llamac, and we would get to Huaraz in the afternoon. Estimated arrival time 6pm.
