DAY 01 CUSCO / WIÑAYWAYNA / MACHU PICCHU
Very early departure from the hotel on private bus. A professional guide will accompany us to the San Pedro railway station from where we will start the journey seeing the beautiful landscape that will introduce us to the wonderful atmosphere of Cuzco´s sky. We will continue until reaching km 104 (the journey will take about 3 hours), and after a short rest, we will start the expedition. The first archaeological center we will visit is Chachabamba (2,250 m.a.s.l), with its beautiful architecture in the valley. Then, it will take us about 3 hours to gradually climb and reach the fascinating archaeological complex Wiñaywayna(2,650 m.a.s.l), where we will eat our box lunch while enjoying the charming place. After a well deserved rest, we will continue the journey through the semi-tropical forest to the mystic Intipunku (sungate), place where we will enjoy the first panoramkic view of the enigmatic citadel of Machu Picchu, which is surrounded by mountains covered with vegetation, rivers and valleys. From the Intipunku we will descend heading to the citadel for about 30 minutes and we will situate ourselves in the highest point of the place to rest and take some pictures. Later, we will take a bus to AGUAS CALIENTES, place where we will spend the night in a chosen hotel. At night we can go to the spring waters of the place.

DAY 02 MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
After a hot breakfast, we will take the first bus to Machu Picchu to enjoy the crack of dawn in this magical place before the arrival of any other tourist coming from Cusco. The guided visit at the citadel will take about 3 hours. Then we will have a chance to freely explore the exotic quietness of “The Lost City of the Incas.” In the afternoon we will go back to Aguas Calientes to reach the train back to Cusco.
