1 HUARAZ / CUARTELWAIN (l/d)
Transfer by bus to Cuartelwain going through the mining zone
of Huanzala. (The journey takes approximately 8 hours)
DAY 2 CUARTLEWAIN
/ MITUCOCHA LAGOON (b/l/d)
We will ascend to "Paso Cacana Punta" at 4,700 m.a.s.l.
Then we will descend to 4,230 m.a.s.l to camp. Here we will
have a magnificent view of the snow peaks of Hirishanca Chico
and Hirishanca; you will also see a part of the Rondoy.
DAY 3 MITUCOCHA
LAGOONO / CARHUACOCHA LAGOON (b/l/d)
Leaving our camp we will cross over "la Quebrada Carhuac"
at 4,650 m.a.s.l. From here we can appreciate the snow peaks
of Yerupaja, Siula, Carnicero, and Hirishanca Grande and Chico.
DAY 4 CARHUACOCHA
LAGOON / CARNICERO (b/l/d)
We will pass by Portachuelo de Huayhuash at 3,750 m.a.s.l,
where we can appreciate the snow peaks of León Huacanan,
Quesillojanca, Trapecio and Carnicero, this chain of mountains
are the limit between Lima and Huanuco.
 DAY
5 CARNICERO / VICONGA LAGOON
(b/l/d)
After we camp at Viconga, we continue the trail until Cuyoc
and Puscartupa, where we will have a great view of the Huayhuash
mountain range; this is the highest point of the Huayhuash
circuit.
DAY 6 VICONGA
LAGOON / HUANACPATAY (b/l/d)
We will begin our descent by the Huanacpatay gorge, where
we will camp.
DAY 7 HUANACPATAY
/ HUATIAC (b/l/d)
We will pass by the Anquimarca ranch and Huayllapa, then we
will ascend until we arrive at the Huatiac camp which is located
at 4,190 m.a.s.l
 DAY
8 HUATIAC / CASHAPAMPA (b/l/d)
We will pass by the limit between Lima and Ancash.
DAY 9 CASHPAMPA
/ JAHUACOCHA (b/l/d)
We will pass by Yaucha at 4,800 m.a.s.l, and continue to Huacrish
gorge, then we descend to Jahuacocha Lagoon: We will appreciate
the most important snow peaks of the Huathuash range as: Hirishanca,
Yerupaja and Rondoy.
DAY 10 JAHUACOCHA
(b/l/d)
Day at leisure, you will enjoy a Pachamanca for lunch.
DAY 11 JAHUACOCHA
/ LLAMAC (b/l/d)
This day we will go to our last step on the Pampa-Llamac circuit,
we will arrive at 4,300 m.a.s.l. Then we will descend until
Llamac's town where we will camp.
DAY 12 LLAMAC
/ HUARAZ (b/l/d)
We will descend until the Llamac River and then arrive at
the intersection with Pacllon River; here we will enjoy warm
weather. We will continue with the trail until the town of
Chiquian, and then transfer by bus to Huaraz and to your hotel.
