 DAY
1 HUARAZ / LLAMACORRAL (l/d)
After breakfast, we depart by private car to the north passing
by some little towns of the "Callejón de Huaylas"
as ( Carhuaz, Yungay and Caraz ), then we will go to the town
of Cashapampa located at 3,150 meters above sea level, where
we will meet our porters to begin the trek, We will ascend
by a canyon to arrive to Llamacorral town at 3,600 m.a.s.l
where we will camp. (Time 4-5 hours)
DAY 2 LLAMACORRAL
/ TAULLIPAMPA (b/l/d)
We depart from Llamacorral following "La Quebranta de
Santa Cruz" passing by the shores of Ichic-cocha and
Jatun-cocha lagoons where you will be able to see many birds.
Then we will continue with the trek to arrive at Taullipampa
at 4,200 m.a.s.l where we will camp. (Time 6-7 hours)
DAY 3 TAULLIPAMPA
/ QUEBRADA PARIA (b/l/d)
Leaving our camp the trail ascends until "El Paso de
Punta Unión" at 4,750 m.a.s.l, where you will
have a beautiful view of the snow-covered peaks of Taulliraju,
Artesonraju, Santa Cruz, Quitaraju, Alpamayo, etc. Finally
we will descend to our camp at "La Quebrada Paria".
DAY 4 TAULLIPAMPA
/ QUEBRADA PARIA (b)
Depart to Vaqueria passing over Huaripampa. Then arrive at
the high-way where a car will be waiting for us to take us
to Huaraz. On route we will pass over "Portachuelo de
Llanganuco" at 4,750 m.a.s.l. Later we will descend to
Chinan cocha and Orcon cocha Lagoons. Finally we will arrive
to Huaraz.
